Ian Dudley is an experienced, award winning cinematographer residing in New York City. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Ian ignored his parents wise advice to “get a real job”. Instead he threw himself headlong into the independent film industry where he worked his way up through the mid-90’s on music videos, commercials and features as a camera assistant before dedicating himself fulltime to cinematography in 1998.
With over 18 years of professional experience shooting everything from feature films and shorts to documentaries, music videos, corporate and promotionals, Ian brings a great deal of experience, expertise and nuance to each project he undertakes.
Ian approaches each project with a unique creative perspective that bridges the technical with the aesthetic and the written word with the visceral.
